What to Bring:
The best rods to fish the rivers and streams of the Texas Hill Country are 4, 5 or 6 weight rods 7'-9'in length. Chest waders, and felt soled wading boots are recommended on the slick and uneven river bottoms. A light rain jacket will come in handy no matter what the forecast (Texas weather can change in a couple of hours). Subdued colored clothing should be worn to prevent spooking the fish. Greens and browns are the best colors to wear. Extra clothing in the event of an unexpected dip in the river. A pair of polarized sunglasses are recommended to cut the glare on the water which, improves the chances of catching fish.
We provide flies and boat (Driftboat, and/or canoes and kayaks for all trips). Drinks and lunch, are included for full day trips. We can provide rods and reels if needed.
